IMO/IMDG Code

WCL richtet sich nach IMDG Code der IMO

Der IMDG Code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code) regelt die Beförderungsvorschriften für gefährliche Güter im Seeschiffverkehr. Der IMDG ist eine Ausarbeitung der IMO (International Maritime Organization). Der IMGD Code dient als Ergänzung der SOLAS (Bestimmungen des internationalen Übereinkommens von 1974 zum Schutz menschlichen Lebens auf See). Er ist in seiner Fassung nahezu identisch mit der Kennzeichnung nach ADR/RID, welche für Straße und Schiene gelten. Es werden ebenso Gefahrgutklassen und UN-Nummern verwendet. In Deutschland zählt der IMDG Code zur GGVSee. Verpackungsgruppen, Klassen und UN-Nummer sind dementsprechend anzugeben.
